St Joseph’s provides childcare services in conjunction with KOOSA Kids before school, after school and during school holidays.  All KOOSA Kids clubs are fully registered with Ofsted.koosa

Breakfast club

KOOSA Kids breakfast club at St Joseph’s runs every school morning for 45 minutes from 8.00 to 8.45 and is based from the school hall.  Breakfast (cereals, toast, fruit drinks etc.) is optional and is made available for the first 20 minutes of the session. There are also a host of quiet games and activities (lego, board games, books, art tables etc.) available for the children to take part in each morning.

After School Club

KOOSA Kids after school club at St Joseph’s runs from school finish until 6.00pm each school day and is based from the school hall, with access to the school playground and outside areas.

KOOSA Kids after school clubs have a very relaxed feel and the staff fully appreciate that children may be tired at the end of a long school day and may simply just want to ‘chill out’ during their time in the club.  Unlike the bustling holiday club programme, children are encouraged to choose the activities they wish to take part in and the emphasis is very much on supervised free play, giving children a chance to catch up with old friends or make new ones.

Children are able to choose from a host of activities that include Jenga, Lego, Stickle Bricks, Art Tables, Role Play, Book Corners, Puzzles, Train Sets, DVD and PlayStation (selected times), Play Mats and a large selection of active games such as Football, Hockey, Rounder’s, Playground Games and much more.

A healthy and nutritious snack (fruit platter, toast, crumpet of pittas) is provided each afternoon.

Holiday Club

KOOSA Kids holiday club at St Joseph’s runs every school holiday for children aged 4 to 13. The activity day runs from 8.15am to 6.00pm, with the option to book a shorter day from 10.00am to 4.00pm.

Children are split into different age groups (Krazy K’s 4-5yrs, Kook K’s 6-8yrs and King K’s 9-13yrs) to ensure activities are delivered in an age appropriate way.

The focus for the holiday club is about the children having as much FUN as possible.  There are a huge range of activities on offer to suit both the sporty or more creative child.  Activities include, Go Karts, Golf, Football, Hockey and Relay Races in our ‘Endeavour Zone’, to Clay Moulding, Painting, Lego Building, Hama Beads and Drama and Science Sessions in our ‘Discovery Zone’.
