Emergency Closure Information
In the event of an emergency, for example in the event of adverse weather conditions, please refer to the procedure below:
All parents and carers will be notified about whether the school will be open or closed as early as possible via ParentMail. Therefore, it is vital that the office have updated email addresses and phone numbers.
If the school is going to be closed, Surrey County Council and Eagle Radio will also be informed and this information will be displayed on their websites.
If a decision is made to close the school early during the school day, a message will be sent out to all parents via ParentMail. The children will need to be collected from the main School Hall. If parents are unable to collect their child, they will need to notify the school as soon as possible.
If the school remains open but it is unsafe for parents to get their child to school, parents will need to notify the School Office and the child’s absence will be authorised.
